Starting June 7th, 2026 - we're moving our worship start time to 10am, followed by Sunday School at 11am. Be sure to update your calendars and we hope to see you soon!
We are a diverse, multi-generational community gathered by God’s love. Worship, spiritual formation, service of God and neighbor and supporting one another in the Body of Christ are central to our mission. We believe each person is unique and beloved of God – join us and bless us with a glimpse that only you can give of God’s grace. May God’s peace and joy fill your heart always.
Please come visit us for worship. Grace is located on the corner of Avenue E and McCullough in San Antonio, TX. The entrance to our parking lot is on McCullough Ave and parking is free for anyone attending church on Sunday morning. Worship starts at 10:00 AM and Sunday school at 11:00 AM. All are welcome at Grace Lutheran Church. We hope to see you here soon!
Located in downtown San Antonio near hotels, attractions and reception venues, our beautiful sanctuary seats up to 600 guests. For a more intimate wedding our newly renovated chapel seats 70 guests comfortably.
Grace Lutheran Church relies on the generosity of our parishioners, friends, and benefactors for its general operations as well as its special ministries and programs. Generosity is the way we show our gratitude for the gifts we have been given by God and honors our commitment to do God’s work.
The next session of our Ministry 360 Workshop series lands on Sunday, June 14, with a focus on evangelism — what it means in our context, what it doesn't, and how everyday members of Grace might share their faith naturally and confidently.
The Ministry 360 series is built around short, accessible workshops that help us think together about how Grace shows up in the world — and how each of us fits into that work.
No experience needed — just a willingness to learn and have fun! Our Beginner Handbells program is starting up and would love to have you.
To sign up or ask questions, contact the church office at (210) 226-9131.
We're looking for a dedicated volunteer to help feed our neighbors. The role involves preparing and distributing sack lunches on Monday mornings, 8:30–11:15 AM.
We need "a fairly strong individual who can tolerate the summer heat and winter cold." If you feel called to this hands-on ministry of hospitality, we'd love to hear from you — please reach out to the church office.
