Cross Trails

The members of Grace Lutheran, together with the other Lutheran churches of the Southwestern Texas Synod, own two camps in the Texas Hill Country. Cross Trails is the ministry which operates these camps.

Camp Chrysalis

Camp Chrysalis, located just south of Kerrville, has been providing quality Christian camping experiences for over 50 years. Accommodations at Camp Chrysalis are by gender or by family depending on the retreat format. Cabins are furnished with bunk beds and have their own bathrooms. There is a four bedroom lodge with central living space available for summer programming and retreats. Delicious meals are served by caring staff.

Ebert Ranch

Ebert Ranch, located west of Fredericksburg, has 465 acres of rolling hills, rugged oak groves and a cool breeze. Accommodations are provided in single gender bunkrooms with bathrooms and bunk beds. The Hideout is available for small rental groups and includes two bedrooms, two baths and a kitchen and living space. Delicious meals and ranch-style hospitality are provided by experienced staff.

Each summer many of our elementary, junior and senior high school youth attend half-week or week-long sessions. The camps also offers several retreats throughout the year, three of which are family retreats during Lent, Labor Day and Advent. These programmed retreats provide opportunities for families to spend time together and allow members of Grace to become better acquainted.
