education

Studying scripture and learning about our Christian heritage deepens our faith and strengthens our relationship with God as well as each other.

At Grace we offer rich experiences for people of all ages from children through seniors. We also recognize the values that each generation brings to the spiritual growth process. In that light, we try to have seasonal intergenerational educational opportunities where we gather as a community in addition to the usual age grouped classes. Regular Sunday school for adults and children begins at 9AM. The children begin with a musical opening for the first part of the hour.

Nursery

Children are welcome in worship as well as the classroom. A nursery is available for newborns through age three during the Sunday school and worship.

Children’s Sunday School

Classes begin at age two years and are divided into age groups through sixth grade. Confirmation includes seventh and eighth grade. Sunday school class is an extension of the confirmation program that meets on Wednesday’s during the school year. Ninth grade through twelfth grade meet together as one group.

Adult Sunday School

There are two classes for adults. Pastor leads a class that explores the Gospel Lesson for the day prior to worship. We also have periodic studies on contemporary Biblical issues and topics. There is also young adult class that explores a variety of bible studies and contemporary issues.

Youth Ministry

In addition to the regular Sunday classes, youth have opportunities for events that are social as well as educational. The Director of Youth Ministry along with the Board of Youth, plan and coordinate the in-house, local, synodical and national gatherings. Click Here to learn more.
